Reduce, Recycle, Re-use!

For us it is a personal priority to buy fair trade and environmentally responsible products whenever possible, so we knew that our business priorities should be no different.

Since our wraps are made from vintage saris, they are truly a great way to “reduce, re-use, recycle!” They are also made by women in India under fair trade conditions, so wearing these beautiful wraps and sharing them with others encourages our supplier and others to engage in fair trade practices. In addition, we use recycled and/or sustainable materials whenever possible for our office supplies and paper products.  Our clothing tags are made by Green Printer Online, which uses 100% recycled paper and vegetable inks, and the ties are hemp.  We also re-use the plastic bags in which the wraps come.

Our Story

Having happened upon these silk wraps during a family reunion, Emily introduced them to Christina, and the two women were immediately inspired to share them with others!

Wearing the wraps is always an absolute joy for Emily and Christina.  Their excitement has since spread to numerous women - some of whom have completely revamped their wardrobe by purchasing 10 or more.  Given that each wrap can be worn in over 100 different ways, they are the perfect wardrobe staple - the new “little black dress”!
